About ASLTrack

ASLTrack is a shipment tracking service. We issue tracking numbers and publish delivery progress so that the person waiting for a parcel can see where it is.

What we do

    Every shipment registered with us receives an ASLTrack number in a single, self-validating format.

    Movement is published as a dated list of events, from label creation through to delivery.

    Anyone holding the number can look it up, with no account and no sign-in.

Our position

What we are, precisely

ASLTrack is a visibility layer. We provide tracking numbers and status information; the physical movement of each shipment is carried out by the transport networks our merchants use. We do not operate vehicles or warehouses, and we say so plainly here rather than leave it to be assumed.

Privacy

What we show, and what we do not

A tracking page is meant for the person expecting the parcel, and a tracking number is the only thing needed to open it. That shapes what we are willing to publish.

  • We show status, the dated list of events, and locations at city and state level.
  • We do not publish the recipient's name or street address, and we do not store them.
  • We do not publish who sold the item or where it was sourced.
  • Tracking numbers are allocated at random rather than in sequence, so one number reveals nothing about any other.

Several tracking services do show a full street address to anyone holding the number. We consider that a defect rather than a feature.

Accuracy

Tracking information is published as it reaches us and reflects the most recent update we have received. Estimated delivery dates are estimates. If something looks wrong on a tracking page, tell us — see contact.
